Dear Frank

After listening to my 2 pfte concerto last night I have decided to rewrite the last few bars & to alter the orchestration at one place in the finale (20 bars before 43) I therefore send the new version from (52) to the end I therefore send the new orchestration 20 bars before (43) and the new version from (52) to the end – In this case I cannot send the new 2 pfte version as I have not got the old one – But the same chord will be held on till the last 2 bars when both pftes will play the chord in my new score.
Could your librarian kindly arrange to have those alterations put into all scores & parts – I hope the material has not gone to America yet.
Yrs sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams
