I am so glad to have your letter telling me you are getting better.
Ursula and I are going abroad directly our Dorking Festival is over, but when we come back may I come and see you?  Or if you are well enough come and see us.¹
I am feeling very well now.

1. Foss replied on 18th April wishing them well for their holiday and saying it would be several months before he could come and see them, but hoping they would come and see him. In fact he died the following month, on 27th May.
