The White Gates,

Dear Mrs. Thomson,

Many thanks for your letter.  Poor Tom Harrison got ’flu and could not come to see me, but I had a word with him over the telephone and he will come to tell me all about it later on.  I gather on all hands, that it was a great success.1
Yours sincerely,

R. Vaughan Williams

Mrs. Thomson,
