Dear Mr Calvocoressi

I think you would be much interested in 3 demonstrations of our English popular (folk) dances which will take place in Paris, Salle Villiers rue Rocher on Friday & Saturday next (June 13 & 14)
The demonstrations will be under the direction of my friend Mr Cecil Sharp who is the great authority on this subject.  The dances themselves have been collected personally by Mr Sharp from the english peasants.  They will be performed on this occasion by the members of the “English Folk dance Society”.  I hope very much that you will find it possible to be present and it would be very kind if you could tell anyone else who is likely to be interested – I am asking Mr Phillip Carr 21 Quai de Bourbon to send you particulars.
With best greetings
Yours sincerely

R. Vaughan Williams1
