We are here till Monday, & enormously enjoying being away, & staying with Joy¹ in this lovely place.  Ralph is getting on wonderfully, & its very hard to remember he is still convalescing.
So glad Eslyn’s mother is also getting on well. Its so good to have her up & about again.
Love to you both rom us both.

1. Joy Finzi. The VWs were visiting her home in Ashmansworth to aid VW’s convalescence from his prostate operation; Gerald Finzi had died the previous year.
