2nd. November, 1949.

Dear Bill,
On Sunday, November 20th, at 3.30p.m. some singers and players are coming here to let me hear a “try through” of two new works of mine. Would you both care to come and hear them? My space is so limited that I can only ask a very few but I should like you to be among them.
