[About 18th November 1911]

Dear Professor Murray

I find that my performers can come on December 7th – wd  that  be a possible date for you to come to London?
I’m afraid it wd have to be in the morning as professional musicians are always engaged in the evening & usually in the afternoon – does that make it impossible for you to come? I am also writing to Augustine Duncan to see if he can be there.1
Cd you kindly send me Mrs  Wheeler’s address on a postcard?2
Yours very truly

R. Vaughan Williams

1. Presumably for a play-through of some of VW’s music for Murray’s Greek plays.
2. Penelope Wheeler was to take the part of Electra.
