Letter No. VWL3817

Letter from William S. Hanham to Sir Alexander Kaye Butterworth

Letter No.: VWL3817

City Chambers,
Infirmary Street,
Leeds, 1.

29th August 1935.

My dear Butterworth,
I have been away from the office two or three days and am very glad to find your letter.1 How good of Vaughan Williams. Please thank him on my behalf.
I have sent copies of the Butterworth Trust Deed only to Mr. Joseph.2 The Trustees as you know are yourself, Allen, Vaughan Williams, Mrs Croft, R.O. Morris and myself. We think that you must have the custody of the deed appointing Mr R.O. Morris as an additional trustee. We have a draft.
I return Vaughan williams’ letter. I hope we shall get to Scotland as usual.

With kindest regards
Yours always,
William S. Hanham

Sir A. Kaye Butterworth,
