Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Peggy Glanville-Hicks

Letter No.:
Jan 19 [1951]

From R. Vaughan Williams,
The White Gates,
Westcott Road,

Dear Peggy
I fear that OUP1 have turned down your songs - they let me know in October - then I fear I let things slip a bit - but I then sent them to Lengnick2  - but have not heard from them yet.
We must see if we can do anything - I suppose no U.S.A. publisher will do anything
Love Uncle Ralph
