Letter No.:
[?3 January, 1924]

recd. Jan 4th 19241
Dear Martin
"pursuant" to our conversation of yesterday the points are these
(1)  Dearmer & Milford asked me to do this book2 I said I cd not - but cd not want any one else to!

(2)  So I compromised by suggesting I shd do it with a colleague naturally your name was the obvious one)

(3)  The said colleague to do all the work & that we shd share the credit & the royalties

(4)  That though the question wd probably never arise that on any musical points the final word was to be with me

Now do you think we can work together on these terms - I very much hope you will say "yes"

1.  In another hand.
2.  Songs of Praise.
