As regards sending out complimentary copies I should like to send the following personal ones myself, namely:
Mrs Wood, Mrs. Hornstein, Mrs. Hartmann, Sir B.L. Richmond, Christopher West, Coghill, Burton, Hancock, Matters, Sir S. Wilson, Hagley, Foss, Robinson and Barter. & Dent.²
The more official ones I will ask you to send, namely
Boult, Barbirolli, Sargent, Murrill, Clive Carey, Kleiber, the Dean of Liverpool³ and the Dean of Chichester,⁴
 in addition, of course to the ones you marked in your list.
I do not know if this is too many, so of course you must use your judgment about this.
As regards a German performance, Muller-Hartmann, before he died sent a copy of the original version to Hamburg, but I do not think anything ever happened.
