Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Alan Frank (OUP)

Letter No.: VWL4171

The White Gates,
Dorking, Surrey.

21st. February, 1951.

Dear Frank
I return herewith proofs and title page of the libretto.1
As the production rehearsals will not start until April, and it is then we shall find out whether we want to make any alterations I think there is no point in delaying printing any longer.
I have made several small alterations in the words which were due to my original carelessness, so these will be slightly different in the vocal score, but we can put that right when we print it.
Yrs
R Vaughan Williams
