Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Joseph Cooper

Letter No.:
Sept 18 [1946]

The White Gates

Dear Cooper
I am sending you some music paper to get on with - perhaps you can find some more in Bristol.
I also send £5-0-0 on a/c to cover initial expenses - e.g. you may have to pay the copyist "on the nail"
As regards copyists I am writing to Arnold Barter (9 HURLE Crescent Clifton) and am asking him to get in touch with you if he knows of one.1
I am so glad you are able to do this work
Yrs Sincerely
R Vaughan Williams
