1.  Zelda Shutan, originally from the Middle East, worked at the British Consulate in Chicago as American Education Officer.
2.  Molly (Amy Mary) Imlach, later the wife of Arthur Ramage and then of Yanya Hornstein, after Genia Hornstein’s death.  VW had met Molly and Zelda in Chicago at the British Consulate, where Molly was Assistant Information officer.
