Letter from Ralph Vaughan Williams to Miss Ricketts

Letter No.: VWL4563

The White Gates,
Dorking

23rd. April, 1948.

Dear Miss Ricketts,
Thank you for your letter about “King Arthur”. I thought perhaps, as the string parts were printed, you would have enough to be able to spare me the ones I have at present.
As there are only four wind parts these could easily be copied at my expense.
I will wait to return the parts until I hear from you again. I do not want the full score.
Yours sincerely,
R Vaughan Williams

(R. Vaughan Williams).
